The Route 66 Mailing List
WHO WE ARE
The Route 66 Mailing List was established on January 27, 1999. Since that time, the list has become "the place" on the Internet to "talk 66." We discuss anything and everything involving Historic Route 66.
Also known as the "Route 66 Onelist" and the "Route 66 eGroup", we are the first established eMail group discussing the Mother Road.
What will you find on The Route 66 Mailing List? Travel tips, updates on Historic Route 66 sites, road reports, collectibles, current events along the route, 66 association updates and more! For me, the best part of the list is when our members post their travel journals while "on the road" - giving list members the opportunity to ride along with them!
We've also assisted in letter writing campaigns to bring attention to HR-66, the Route 66 Preservation Bill before Congress (it passed!), as well as helping bring to light a section of pristine Oklahoma roadbed slated for an "update" (destruction of the old concrete roadbed).
